Mississippi Blues Marathon

Saturday morning I woke up at 6:30, got Colby and myself dressed in 20 mins, grabbed a fruit bar on the go, met Kim at her house, loaded all the kids up in the van, drove 2 blocks down the road and arrived 2 minutes before this hot, hunky guy ran past us in the Mississippi Blues Marathon. Whewwwww......we barley made it for Colby to scream, "go daddy go!"

After we showed our support we quickly returned to the van for warmth.

Then we returned to Kim's house to wait on the brave men to return from the 19 degree weather.

Chris said it was pretty rough, and he couldn't feel most of his body parts. He tried to drink a cup of hot chocolate at the end of the race, but he kept spilling it due to uncontrollable shaking LOL! Chris and Kevin returned, took a hot shower, and then we enjoyed breakfast at Primos......yummy!

I'm so proud of Chris for placing 93 out 815 in the half marathon. He ran 13 miles in 1hr 44 mins.......woohoo honey bunny!
