Mushroom Spinach Calzone
2 Pizza crust
8oz fresh mushroom, sliced
1 (9oz) pkg frozen spinach...I use 2 cups of fresh spinach
4 garlic cloves
1 (16oz) can tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. basil
1/4 tsp. oregano
dash salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Shredded cheese (of your choosing)
and one cute chef
In a frying pan, saute mushrooms and spinach....then add garlic.
Add in tomato sauce,
basil, pepper,
and oregano.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes
Now, time for the crust.....
spray the pan
roll out the pizza crust
equally divide the mixture onto each crust
top with cheese
fold dough over the filling, and seal the edges
Bake at 425 for 10-15 minutes until lightly browned
Enjoy!!
He never knew he was eating spinach!!
Chase can't enjoy Colby's calzones yet, but he was chowing down on his mum mum!!
