Early Birthday Gifts

Colby will be two on December 19, and has already began the celebration with early gifts! He received a train station from Coach & JoJo and he is officially "obsessed!" He has to put the trains in the train house every night and say, "night night choo choos". If that's not bad enough, he wakes up shouting, "choo choo train peez". Chris was so excited to put it together because he wanted to play with it himself. Chris got busy and didn't won't to stop until he was done. Colby goes to bed at 7:oo and at 9:00 he was still in Colby's room working away. I told him he had to call it quits until morning. Chris was like a kid on Christmas morning LOL!



Daddy & Colby got busy breaking in the train set the very next day! He is telling Coach and JoJo thank you but there is a funny story behind his gesture. He learned to sign thank you around 11 months old ( touching the chin with an open palm and then lowering it down) but every time he signed thank-you to someone they assumed he was blowing a kiss and would blow him a kiss in return. He figured he was signing it incorrectly since everyone else was signing back with a kiss. Anyway..that's why he blows a kiss to say thank-you!

My good friend Ashley will be spending the next 6 weeks in Tennessee ( I will miss you soooo much) so she brought Colby his birthday present yesterday. It is the cutest little table with two little chairs and it has a dry/erase table top. When I opened it, Colby screamed, "aw man, wow!" He colored and colored and colored some more, but then I had to take the colors away when I noticed he had blue crayon between his teeth (my son eats EVERYTHING).
