Okay everybody brace yourself for this exciting news. For 15 days I have put Colby Jones in his bed, said goodnight, kissed him, and walked out of the room. Oh yes, and there has been no tears, he just squeezes his Binky (his stuffed animal that he can't sleep without) rolls over, and goes to sleep!
He goes to bed at exactly 7:00 every night, sleeps for 8 hours, wakes at 3 to nurse, and goes right back to sleep for three more hours. He wakes up at 6 and talks to himself until I go to get him up. Colby is a morning person, unlike his father. When he sees someone looking over his crib in the morning he stretches and then gives the biggest smile in the world. I am so excited about how well he is doing and pray every night that it continues, because Colby is known to change his mind. So, for the time being I am on cloud nine!
