Chris and I have really been talking up school the last several weeks with some crazy enthusiasm......it's finally starting to rub off on Colby!!
I can't believe it's actually time to do this! He will only go 2 days a week from
9:00-1:00 but that's a big deal for my little Momma's boy!
We went to Open House yesterday to see his room and meet his teacher.....I just love this kind of stuff!!
Colby's thoughts......
well there you have it.....
He wants me to marker with him, paint with him, and play with him.....pretty much just pack a lunch and join the class!
I hope this transition goes smoother than I anticipate because I think it will be great for him once he gets use to it! I know he will cry when I say good-bye in the morning but I just hope it's short lived! If he doesn't adjust then I will just pull him out and wait until next year......I can't handle the crying game! If he isn't ready then he just isn't ready and I'm not going to push it!

Good luck...we will be conquering a similiar feet tomorrow as well. Kate is all about school, but I got a call and they have a spot for Jack as well, so I'm going to go ahead and enroll both. I think it will be good for everyone, especially once the baby arrives, but those first few days are going to be brutal for Jack (and me!). I know he will cry, I just hope not for too long. Kids are resilent and they adjust and I know that he will learn to love it with some time.
